review of The Tap House, a thing of the past or go and have a blast?

Tap House on 5589 W. Charleston Boulevard, Las Vegas, NV, 89146 is a local hang out.

This establishment shows off its Cleveland Ohio roots, celebrating the Browns and Cavaliers They boast that  they are the home of the Cleland Browns fans in Las Vegas!

They have a large wrap around bar and tables, first come first serve. The restaurant is a bit outdated but hey they established in 1983.

The Tap House was absolutely full of people eating and drinking, we grabbed one of the last tables available and our server came promptly.

We decided on 2 antipasto salads, mild chicken wings, twice baked Cajun wings, Stromboli, shrimp salad and some cocktails.

Our server was absolutely perfect, delivering our drinks promptly, I did not need to ask for anything as she was on the ball!

We all dove in to our salads, Pleasingly Plump says ” the greens were fresh, the meats and cheeses fresh and good quality and I enjoyed every bite!” I agreed! Our guest said “this shrimp salad is absolutely amazing!” I snuck a bite and could not argue.

The Stromboli came out hot and fresh, golden brown, filled with plenty of cheese and meat, overall we enjoyed it.

We heard about the award-winning wings, voted best in Las Vegas in 2014. We found that the wings did not live up to our expectations. We did order a dry rub Cajun twice baked wing but had a hard time with a completely dry not juicy wing, the mild wings also bone dry, over salted and left us parched like the desert we live in.

So we deliver to our fans a clean, out dated establishment that has great salad and Stromboli, great service, fun atmosphere and reasonable prices, order the wings at your own risk.

If you are a Browns fan, the game will be on!

We need another visit to the Tap House to truly decide if we can give a stamp of approval, after all most of the meal was solid.
